LeAnne Rozelle
Founder · Bookkeeper · Tax Preparer

Rozelle Consulting exists for one reason: to give small business owners the kind of clear, honest financial partnership that's usually reserved for clients with much bigger budgets.

I started this practice in 2015 after years of watching capable, driven entrepreneurs get blindsided every spring. They were building real businesses — but the books were a mess, the tax strategy was reactive, and nobody had ever sat down with them to explain what their own numbers were saying.

I do that work. Bookkeeping that's accurate and on time. Tax preparation that's strategic, not just compliant. Business formation and ongoing advice that prevents the expensive rework so many founders pay for later.

When I'm not in the books, I'm usually with my family or out working in the garden. There's a lot of overlap, honestly — both reward patience, attention, and a long view.

How I Work

The principles
behind the practice.

Anyone can plug numbers into a software. The value of working with a seasoned practitioner is in the judgment around them — and that judgment comes from a few clear commitments.

Clarity over jargon

Reports you actually read. Conversations you actually understand. If I can't explain it to you plainly, I haven't done my job.

Strategy year-round

Tax planning happens in July, not just April. The decisions that lower your bill are made all year long.

Compliance, then optimization

The IRS and your state revenue departments come first. Then we look at every legal lever to keep more of what you earn.

Long-term partnership

I'm not interested in transactions. The clients I serve best are the ones I've worked with for years, watching them grow.
